In the real world no information system is static, as well as ever changing content there is also often a need to add or reorganise its structure quite substantially. It is often impossible to capture all a companies requirements in initial meetings as clients often don’t know themselves what they may need in the future. Our work with SFEDI is a prime example.

SFEDI approached the ElectroSoup wanting a content management system implemented. We obliged, adding specific functionality, bespoke content types, such as polls, FAQ’s, e-commerce and ability to add event specific mini-sites.

SFEDI were so impressed that they asked us to build a extranet and membership system. So what started as a Content Management System for their website became a much larger web based system, adding membership system and extranet serving their centres around the country.

What ElectroSoup offers are completely pluggable agile systems that allow new technology to be injected straight into a specific system offering extra bespoke and often quite fundamental functionality without requiring a re coding of the existing codebase.
