Novell Share our Open Source Application
All our Content Management systems (CMS) and intranets are based on Zope and Plone technology. Novell has used various proprietary CMS solutions over time, including TeamSite and Vignette. None of these solutions met all of their needs, nor were they easy to modify. So they began looking at different Open Source CMS options, and decided on Plone.
It's not much of a secret to people here at ElectroSoup, but large companies have been slowly coming round to the advantages of using Plone. It's flexible, agile, easy to use and above all very productive.
You don't have to be a large corporation with large resources to use our Plone based CMS. We use it to offer SMEs the power that large corporations enjoy. All at a fraction of the cost of proprietary technology in the same league.
